Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Lost actor Matthew Fox is signed on to star in World War Z alongside Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Anthony Mackie and James Badge Dale. According to the site, Alicia Vikander is still in talks for the role of "Segen".

Set 10 years after a global zombie epidemic, Matthew Fox would be playing "Parajumper".

Marc Forster is directing from J. Michael Straczynski and Matthew Michael Carnahan's script, which is adapted from Max Brooks' popular novel, told in oral history form from various perspectives around the world.

Brad Pitt will play a researcher for the U.N. Postwar Commission, while Mireille Enos of AMC's The Killing was previously cast as his wife, a mother of two girls.

Production is slated to begin this July in London, Malta and other locales overseas.

World War Z comes to theaters June 2013 and stars Brad Pitt, Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, James Badge Dale, Mireille Enos, David Andrews, Elyes Gabel. The film is directed by Marc Forster.
