Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton have boarded the cast of Oren Moverman's directorial debut, The Messenger. They join Ben Foster, Jena Malone and Eamonn Walker.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Messenger was co-written by Moverman and first-time scriptwriter Alessandro Camon, and is billed as a poignant, life-affirming road movie.

Production is set to begin May 20.

The Messenger was released November 13th, 2009 and stars Ben Foster, Jena Malone, Eamonn Walker, Woody Harrelson, Yaya DaCosta, Portia, Lisa Joyce, Steve Buscemi. The film is directed by Oren Moverman.
