Woody Allen Goes with Whatever Works for Larry David

According to JS Online, Woody Allen has finally settled on a new titled for his upcoming Larry David comedy. And that title is: Whatever Works.

The acclaimed director went on to speak to JS Online about the film, and said that it was, "a slightly different one for me. It's a blackish comedy. (Larry's) got a great thing of his own. He's got a great, sarcastic, sour, wonderful, no nonsense sense of humor. I think I'm more illusory than him. He's a stronger personality. I'm more of a schlemiel, a dope. I would be the guy they would plant the microfilm on and I would never know it, and I would be out there wondering why people are shooting at me. Larry has a different quality. It was fun to write this for him."

Whatever Works is set for release in early 2009.

Whatever Works was released June 19th, 2009 and stars Larry David, Adam Brooks, Lyle Kanouse, Michael McKean, Clifford Lee Dickson, Yolonda Ross, Carolyn McCormick, Samantha Bee. The film is directed by Woody Allen.
