Kimberly Peirce set to direct With a Friend Like Harry remake
Boys Don't Cry director Kimberly Peirce is set to helm Maven Pictures' remake of the French thriller With a Friend Like Harry.

The original starred Laurent Lucas and Mathilde Seigner as Michel and Claire. The couple goes on vacation with their children and unintentionally meet up with Harry, an old classmate Michel doesn't remember. The plot thickens when Harry's behavior takes a turn for the worse. Dominik Moll directed the original film, that was nominated for the prestigious Palm D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000.

Kimberly Peirce is currently working on a remake of Carrie, starring Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Julianne Moore.

No production details have been released for this project.
