Winona Ryder joins The Iceman
The project is a fact-based film about Richard Kuklinski, a serial killer who found his calling as a Mafia hitman. He earned his nickname by freezing the bodies of his victims, disguising the time of death, and throwing police off-track.
The actress will be playing the Richard Kuklinski's wife, Deborah, who was unaware that he was a contract killer. Michael Shannon is playing The Iceman, and Chris Evans will be playing his mentor, Robert Pronge.
Ariel Vromen will be directing from a screenplay co-written with Morgan Land, based a Anthony Bruno book "The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer".
The Iceman was released May 3rd, 2013 and stars Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder, Chris Evans, Ray Liotta, David Schwimmer, Danny A. Abeckaser, John Ventimiglia, Ryan O'Nan. The film is directed by Ariel Vromen.
