The Life Aquatic: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willem Dafoe and Cate Blanchett are poised to join Bill Murray, Anjelica Huston and Owen Wilson in the adventure comedy "The Life Aquatic" for Touchstone Pictures and "The Royal Tenenbaums" helmer Wes Anderson. The project, due to start lensing this month in Rome, follows the experiences of an oceanographer and his crew on a series of wild deep-sea adventures, including the search for a shark. Dafoe will star as the ship's engineer and the surrogate brother of Murray's character, while Blanchett will play the female lead, a member of the ship's crew. Jeff Goldblum, Peter Stormare, Wallace Wolodarsky and Bud Cort round out the cast.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou was released December 10th, 2004 and stars Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Gambon, Noah Taylor. The film is directed by Wes Anderson.
