It seems that a spate of classic films might be heading to high definition next year. According to The Digital Bits' Rumor Mill their sources have indicated that there is a possibility of Titanic being released in Blu-ray in late 2009.

The site also revealed that we could expect such films as Chinatown,Deep Impact, The Ten Commandments, Sunset Boulevard, Apocalypse Now, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Saturday Night Fever, Flashdance and The Elephant Man.

Of course, these have not been confirmed by the studio as of yet, but we'll be sure to update you on any and all of these potentially-forthcoming BD titles.

Titanic comes to theaters April 4th, 2012 and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Gloria Stuart, Bill Paxton, Bernard Hill. The film is directed by James Cameron.
