Will Spiderman 4 and 5 Be Shot at the Same Time?

The newest rumor floating about the Spider-Man franchise is James Vanderbilt's script has enough juice for two films, and that the are going to be shot simultaneously. According to Cinematical, "the studio saw dollar signs and is in the process of reworking his deal to snatch up the story arc."

No word yet on the script details or if Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst or Sam Raimi will be returning.

    Exactly ha I'll also admit, they're were a couple things wrong with the second one. For instance, when doc ock is about to capture mj and that stupid thumping "music" starts when ock's tentacles hit the floor was kinda corny. I said that in my review too. I'm sure there were other things that i can't remember, but yes, now we know we can defend our movies. I'm just glad i had an 8-page argument instead of the rest of my friends for once lol

    lol. that actually sounds pretty funny when you say it out loud. still i know why many people didnt like spider-man three. the thing is that spiderman one and two was really predictable. everyone knew that the green goblin would die and harry would get pissed at spider-man. everyone also knew that spider-man would get with mary jane and harry would find out and get revenge and of course doc oc would be defeated. for the third movie, it was completely unpredictable. there was harry and venom and sandman all over the place. and you didnt really know where they were going to take these characters, unlike the first two. thats why many people didnt like spider-man three, because it was unlike the first two, in a good way. also the movie was not centerd on venom being the main villain. with harry being a very important character and sandman being the main villain, there was little room for venom. and these villains were very diverse from the other first two villains. its not my style to give andrewryan, im just as harded as you are. lol.

    It's crap compared to the first two. It was so corny it's not even funny. Doc Ock actually captured spidey. Venom was a p*ssy. He had sandman beat the crap outta him instead while he held him down. Since when does venom need help? He should've given spidey a "good beating" but he didn't. Plus, spidey's agility makes it hard for ock to get a hold of him, even with four mechanical arms. Just give up, it's gone on for i don't know how long.

    its the simbiote that was going all crazy because of the noise of the pipes hitting each other, which IN THE COMIC BOOKS, as you love to say, happens as well. plus it kinda make sense that the sound hurts the alien simbiote because there is no oxygen in outer space so therefor there cannot be any sound. so the strong noise could have affected him. what he ( Doc Oc) could have done is given spider-man a good beating ( like how the green goblin did in the fist one. now that was cool). and you say spider-man three is good and now you say its crap... and then again you say its good, but ten minutes later you're gonna call it crap AGAIN?

Venom has all of spidey's powers and can't even be detected by his spider sense, and yet he still got BLOWN UP by spidey cuz he couldn't stand a lil noise! At least doc ock was smart enough to tire out spidey with a runaway train and then actually capture him, instead of getting himself blown up! And r u kidding me with this "he should've beat spidey" crap! U really think he was gonna kill spidey in his own movie! Tell ya the truth, i wish he would've so we wouldn't have been dissapointed by a crap third film!

    oh and when the apartment complex is burning and peter tries to save the little asian girl, the girl pulls HIM up. wtf?

    w/e. someone said that topher grace played a terrible venom in this place. anyways i do know that sm2 came from the comics, i saw it on FX dvd on tv. Still, the movie basically sucked ass. i bagged on it so dirty that all you can do is take about topher grace being a good venom. face it that i made very good points about spider-man three that you overlooked and the crappy points of spider-man 2 that, once again, you overlooked. almost everything from the spider-man film series came from both the animated series and the comics. and bringing up carnage for the short version shown of venom is Spider-man three will just be retarded and it will look desperate. venom was and is still waaay more popular than carnage.but if anything pick s villain that is different from the other villains, but still please fans like me and andrewryan and the rest of the people. and now, to wrap up this fascinating debate, SM3 was good, no doubt about it and SM2 was plain crap. NOT complete sh*t, but almost in the same category.

    I don't remember me saying topher grace was a bad venom. In fact, i think he was great for the role, so ur wrong again. AND the whole "peter not wanting to be spidey anymore storyline" came directly from the comics. The scene where he's walking away from the trash can after throwing his spidey suit away is exactly like the panel from the comic.
