Will Sigourney Weaver Return for Avatar 2?
It seems that Sigourney Weaver could be coming back for an Avatar sequel after all. CineBuzzTV recently posted a video interview with Weaver where she revealed how it might be possible to return for Avatar 2. She reveals that she has in fact talked with director James Cameron about returning as well. Click on the player below to watch this video interview with Weaver. James Cameron's Avatar stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang, Matt Gerald and is still playing in theaters worldwide.
Avatar was released December 18th, 2009 and stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Joel Moore, Giovanni Ribisi, Michelle Rodriguez, Laz Alonso. The film is directed by James Cameron.

Maybe they'll show flashbacks in some of scenes of what happened with Jake Sulley's brother before he joined the Avatar program. IDK, just a guess.

It's hard to imagine there is no death on Pandora. Well, I like her to be part of the sequel but what's surprising now that the actor of Quaritch (S. Lang) will be cast "again" also for the next movie? Is this a prequel which is interesting also even there's a book for it on plan.

Remember how her "essence" was kind of taken by the forest spirit to be put back into the avatar body? She is probably still in there, and could possibly speak to and offer guidance to Jake and the Navi. Could be neat.
