It was also reported that the film is number one in ticket sales on Fandango - still two weeks from release - even beating out this weekend's new releases. The film will open on October 28 in approximately 3,000 theaters domestically and an additional 8,000 screens internationally. When the site reached a Sony insider for a comment on the monstrous prediction from AEG, the insider responded, "I dont know what they're talking about. That would be bigger than Spider-Man and Harry Potter. It's an event, but it's still a movie."
While the film is slated for just a limited two-week theatrical run, the site is also reporting that AEG is planning on bringing the film back to theaters at a later date, although it wasn't specified when.
Michael Jackson's This Is It was released October 28th, 2009 and stars Michael Jackson, Alex Al, Alexandra Apjarova, Nick Bass, Michael Bearden, Irina Brecher, Daniel Celebre, Mekia Cox. The film is directed by Kenny Ortega.

It's moments like these that further support my theory that Michael isn't dead. Why? I'll explain:
Since all the Child Abuse and touch-me cases have been thrown around in his face (along with some very disturbing allegations made by one disturbed Corey Feldman) it would make sense that Michaels only option to step out of the negative is to die. He faked his death and hes in Thailand somewhere married to a 12 year old boy swimming in a pool of Benjamin's laughing at well he is doing now that all of his records have sky-rocketed to a whopping 2000% at least. I mean think about it, even though I am obviously joking, if you walk through the grocery aisle practically anywhere, his face is on a dozen magazine covers if not more. Not to mention you can't turn the radio to any pop station these days without his name being mentioned after or before a tribute hour to which his songs are or had been played commercial free. The guy is making millions upon millions from the grave which is obviously well above the needed amount to pay anyone off. Plus, when was the last time anyone heard someone speaking of Michael as a child molester? Nowhere near as often as before. The general public virtually forgot about it and now he is supposed to be making more than the Dark Knight and Spider-Man and all the others?
I'm disgusted with contemporary America.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.....excuse me......hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ok now that I have that out of my system lol. I very very seriously doubt that this film will do that well. Like the guy said that'd would mean it would do better than Spider-Man and Harry Potter, and probably even The Dark Knight! I'm not even going to see this film. I'm not saying it's going to be a bad film or that it's not going to make some money because I have no doubt that it will but to make a statement like that and say it's going to make over $250 million is really crazy to me. We'll see how it does but I'm not predicting an open like these guys are expecting.
