Will Kate Beckinsale Return in Underworld 4?
This new chapter in the Underworld franchise will be filmed in 3D. While it looks like Beckinsale is all but confirmed to return, this news should still be taken as rumor, as no official word has been made yet.
FIcnRjdkhiJDfg|+|Underworld 4} is scheduled to hit theaters on January 21st, 2011.
Underworld was released September 19th, 2003 and stars Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen, Shane Brolly, Bill Nighy, Erwin Leder, Sophia Myles, Robbie Gee. The film is directed by Len Wiseman.

They had something like that in Underworld if I emember right. But if the government found out about it, and started hunting them etc, then that would be flat out awesome. A huge secret game of cat mouse and mouse cat with the Lycans, Government, and Vampires, with Beckinsale in the middle :) Yumm.

Yes AnnoyingFilmCritic, I have to agree. Bring back Wesley Snipes as Blade. All these chick flick p*ssy vampire movies and TV shows are tainting the genre. I don't care how much money they make or how popular they are. They are just Gossip Girl and The Hills with fangs! They are tying to cash in on the Potter phenomena. A new Blade is due! But I'm sure you must have heard rumors that if they do a new one, they were going to go with another actor. Knowing Hollywood, they'll do something really lame and use Common and alienate the fanbase. Common wasn't bad in T4, but come on, nobody can do Blade like Snipes! Just make him effortlessly cool like in the original movie and not so c*cky like he was in Trinity.

ollie-styrene, Have you heard about the new 3D Bluray players that are being develped? It's a step to the next technological level. When 3D is around for a while, the Holodeck will be next. Advances are really making leaps and bounds, faster and faster. I think the new players will still play regular discs, like Bluray playing DVD, so you can just choose not to watch 3D if you want. So you might as well strap yourself in buddy. As mind numbing as is to imagine where things will be in twenty years, we have to hang on, because "progress" will wait for no one.

newkill, I have read about it in an article and looked up the sources. At first I didn't believe it either, I spent months looking and the funny thing is its all true.
Movie evolution is changing, and it's not looking good any time soon. I can't stand Real D, it's in kid films, it's in future horror films, soon it's going to be in sci-fi films and so on.
I would look it up if I were you, you're going to wish to watch TV films for now on.
Hell the next Spiderman film is rumored to be in 3D.

i cant wait for this Kate Beckinsale is not only georgous but a great actor, so im definatley on bourd for the 4th one, and i think the reason why she wasent in the 3rd one is simple, when the story was taking place it was before her time, she wasent even born yet.

Having Kate Beckinsale back for a new Underworld sequels is great news! Rhona Mitra is way hot, but, Gorgeous kate is the star of this property...its no surprise that the underworld movies have new blood in them, so to speak, with Vampires being the hot trend with Twilight & True Blood...just bring back Wesley Snipes as Blade one more time!!

I liked the first two, not so much the third, but I am definitely opened to a fourth film. I also agree with a majority of the comments, please stay away from 3D.

Van, Mitra, i think did a slighly poor job on the character, i can't say she is the best of woman actors. I just love Kate, i love this woman, she looks so good in the suit for one. And two she is acts well with the character with out making it look stupid like most feminist heroeins such as C*t***** (you know what i'm talking about right.) So in the end, i love to see her face and her acting, i love to see her more. Mitra is alright looking but not as beautiful as Kate.
And, yes. I would love to see her as a Bond girl, but even a role like that is too good for her (sleeping with a slut like bond). I think she would do a good job as Wonder Woman aswell.
