According to Variety DreamWorks Animation's Oobermind will now be featuring the voice talents of Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. The film is set to be released in the fall of 2010.

Ferrell will be playing the title role that had been slated for Robert Downey Jr. He is a super-villain who wants all his nefarious dreams to come true when he defeats good-guy rival Metro Man (Pitt). The only problem is that he has nothing to do after beating his most vaunted adversary. To occupy his time, Oobermind manufactures a brand new superhero, Titan (Hill), but he wants to be bad, so Oobermind suddenly has to become good.

Apparently, Downey left the production due to scheduling conflicts. Tina Fey is already attached to voice a reporter who tries to make sense of this superhero situation.
