Will a Les Grossman Movie Be Coming to Theaters?

Cruise returning as Les Grossman?
Last night at the MTV Movie Awards, Tom Cruise brought back his popular character Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder for an on-stage performance with Jennifer Lopez and it seems we can be expecting more from this popular character on the big screen in the near future. E! Online spoke to Tom Cruise himself backstage at the awards show and he revealed that a spin-off film featuring Les Grossman is in the works.
"We're working on it," he beamed. "Yup, we're working on it."
The site couldn't get any more information out of Cruise and it isn't clear if he is working with Tropic Thunder screenwriters Ben Stiller, Justin Theroux and Etan Cohen on this film project.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any further details of a Les Grossman movie as soon as we have more information.

Mixed on this one. Character is funny as hell, but movie length... not so sure. Have to wait and see the plot to the movie. I'm betting on about 100+ cameos in it.

I don't know about this one. Part of why this type of character was so funny in the first place was because of the shock value behind it. I mean, it wasn't something that I really saw coming.
It's like when wayne brady was on the chappelle show. It was shocking and funny for what it was, but if they made a whole movie out of it, the comedic element would just wear out fast.
I watched this les grossman character make a special appearance on the mtv movie awards and It felt awkward, annoying, and just plain unfunny. After seeing him in Tropic Thunder, the shock value had worn off and my current interest in the character had entirely diminished.

Mmm_mmm
Oh, no. I could see this being funny for the length of time he was in Tropic THUNDAAAAA!! and the time of a commercial.
But not movie. Sweet Jesus, not movie length. He'd get old REAL FAST. The only person still with it after 90 minutes would be Mel Gibson. "Hey guys, that Cruise does a SPOT ON JEW! AHAHAHhahahahaha! Hey sugar t*ts, where's muh Junior Mints! WHERE THE F*CK ARE MY JUNIOR MINTS!!!"
Aaaaand scene.
