"There's a script that's being developed," Zemeckis told the site. "We've got the original writers that are working on it now - (Peter) Seaman and (Jeffrey) Price."
Zemeckis also spoke to the number of proposed sequels, prequels and other films that were in various stages of development over the years, but all of which fell through.
"I think there was a time right after the movie came out that the Disney regime at the time - it was a point in the life of the studio where if you made a successful movie they could no longer afford to hire you back," he laughed. "I guess there were some projects that I don't know anything about."
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? was released June 21st, 1988 and stars Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Cassidy, Charles Fleischer, Stubby Kaye, Alan Tilvern, Richard LeParmentier, Lou Hirsch. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis.

Like Independence Day had some good effects, but other parts, look terrible. All the fire explosions look so fake lol. But the whole light beam into the buildings look really good. Kinda weird.

oh i get wut u meant now, i was saying that if it is used poorly then it no longer is a good effect because the poor usage takes away from it.

I'd watch a sequel, the original is great. But I agree, no mocap for this movie.

For an example of a movie with good effects used properly, I Robot.

The effects themselves were really good. You can make good graphics but use them poorly. I see it alot actually. Since that's what I do as a hobby and I see details in images etc, I just notice that kind of stuff. Especially fonts.

if he does a mocap sequel to Roger Rabbit i'll be pissed. film it the same way as the original and don't f*ck it up, Roger Rabbit is one of my fav movies, and i don't want Zemeckis to ruin it.
and if the effects didn't blend in well with the real actors and backgrounds then they r bad effects. thats like sayin this sandwich is delicious it just tastes like sh*t.

Actually, G.I Joe had great effects, but the problem was that they didn't blend them in well with the real life background and people.
