Plus, a new poster spotted on eBay suggests that the film has undergone a post-production conversion to 3-D.

In the film, set in the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer.
My Soul to Take was released October 29th, 2010 and stars Nick Lashaway, Max Thieriot, Denzel Whitaker, Zena Grey, Dennis Boutsikaris, Jessica Hecht, Frank Grillo, Shareeka Epps. The film is directed by Wes Craven.

Wes Craven has really fallen off lately and hasn't made a good movie in ages.

Quinndel: That's the first thing I thought too. This idea is too similar to Nightmare on Elm Street.

Sounds lame. Plus the conversion to 3D does the opposite for me, it sends me running in the other direction, not towards the idea.
