WB to Engage in Prison Riot

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it appears that Warner Bros. will be making a "Delta Force prison project."

The film will focus on "the riots and siege of Atlanta Federal Penitentiary in 1987." When this happened, Cuban and American prisoners took control of the facility and captured over 100 federal prison workers.

Producing will be former New Line Executive Michael De Luca with David Keane, Mark Bowden (writer of Black Hawk Down) and Aaron Bowden through their Wild Eyes banner.

The film was written by Ari Rubin. Francis Lawrence will direct.

Nice! This sounds good to me! There aren't many great prison movies out. Fellon had actually impressed me and it was good to see Val Kilmer play a good role in it...
