23rd century soldier Major Mitch Hunter (Thomas Jane) leads a fight against an army of underworld NecroMutants. Rea plays the former commander of Lieutenant Mitch Hunter, a 23rd century Marine who tries to save Earth by leading a band of soldiers against evil NecroMutants. Perlman portrays the leader of a religious sect who thinks he can destroy the mutants and save the planet, recruiting Hunter to join him.

The Mutant Chronicles comes to theaters in 2009 from Voltage Pictures.

Mutant Chronicles was released April 24th, 2009 and stars Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Devon Aoki, Sean Pertwee, Benno Fürmann, John Malkovich, Anna Walton, Tom Wu. The film is directed by Simon Hunter.

    btw is somebody MENTIONS that they should do this movie creature effects as of I Am Legend's graphics ever again, I will personally fly to your house and slap you for EVEN THINKING about it. That movie had THE WORST creature effects, looked like effects from an old ass movie lol. Plus they ripped off of the Mummy those bastards.

    I have seen this and let me tell you all What a piece of CRAP. I couldn't care less for the characters, Jane and Perlman were just ok at best and Malcovich had such a bit part that he really didn't even need to be in this. Mutants all look the same and no big surprises this movie in short sucks...

    this looks ok.it looks like a zack snyder film.i dont like how they used real humans in makeup to play mutants.i wish they wouldve done something more like I am legend.i dont think the mutants should look like humans at all.i hope theres a leader mutant thing thats completely different or somethin like that.overall, i like the visual style and i like thomas jane and john malcovich but the story seems to simple
