I'm definitely seeing this movie. America hasn't had it's own giant monster since-I don't know when. Have we even had a giant monster that wan't from Japan? LOL.

However, I don't think they should call this new or even newsworthy when all it is is the same old stuff mixed together. I'm not saying I want to see the monster, but enough with the hype!

And what the hell is Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve?! I've never even heard of it. It can't be that "rockin'" if Ryan Seacrest is hosting it.

Without revealing the monster, the only thing new they can show you is "Oh sh*t!" type of reaction shots.

Interesting way to promote a film, during "During Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve celebration"!! LOL Never heard of that!! Superbowl yes, New Years show never!
I love the marketing blitz! It's jsut getting crazy!

I just hope it doens't turn into another "Bliar Witch" melt down! Great marketing, terrible film!!

Hell, during the Sci-Fi Channel "The Twilight Zone Marathon" (01/01/08-01/02/08) there was at least 1 TV clip for both "Cloverfield" or "One Missed Call" every time they went to a commercial break!!!
