Watch the First Australia Trailer!
A romantic action-adventure set in northern Australia prior to World War II, Australia centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver (Jackman) to drive 2000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier. With his new film, Luhrmann is painting on a vast canvas, creating a cinematic experience that brings together romance, drama, adventure and spectacle.
Australia hits theaters everywhere November 14th.
Australia was released November 26th, 2008 and stars Shea Adams, Eddie Baroo, Ray Barrett, Tony Barry, Jamal Bednarz-Metallah, Damian Bradford, Bryan Brown, Nathin Butler. The film is directed by Baz Luhrmann.

They call me ITCHY BALLS
You need to see it on the big screen to imerse yourself in the vistas of the "Outback" while it's in the theatres or you're never gonna get another chance....unless you're gonna spend MORE money to travel halfway around the world to see the real thing.

K-Man
The cinematography on this film looks absolutely incredible! I am anxious to see what Baz Luhrmann does with this. I never saw Moulin Rouge, basically because that kind of movie isnt my thing and any movie where the cast may break into song at any given moment makes me want to shoot myself. Nevertheless, I will give credit where it is due and from what I could tell off of the previews Moulin Rouge had a great visual style. Now that Baz is taking on a different type of genre and one that I may actually be interested in, I am anxious to see how it turns out. Whether the movie is incredible or absolute sh*t, I would be willing to bet that the movie is going to be a visual masterpiece.
