Watch the 3 Minute V TV Spot!
V is a re-imagining of the 1980's miniseries about the world's first encounter with an alien race in which the aliens call themselves The Visitors, and have a seemingly friendly agenda that may or may not be a cover for something more malevolent.
V stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack Landry, Lourdes Benedicto as Valerie Stevens, Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans, Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, with Morena Baccarin as Anna and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker.
The series is produced by HDFilms in association with Warner Bros. Television. Scott Peters is executive producer/writer and Steve Pearlman and Jason Hall are executive producers. The pilot was directed and executive produced by Yves Simoneau.

O.K. I have to say, looking at it with that skeptical, purist eye (HUGE fan of the original!), this looks pretty good!! I can really feel the essence of the original mini-series here!
It doesn't seem like they're tricking it way out or tossing the book completely out the window (like a certain summer blockbuster everybody seems to like right now). Smart, creative, and respectful change is good, rape is bad.
Happily, I don't feel like the concept is being raped. I"M IN!!!

I know its not done by the shows original creator Kenny Johnson but it still has promise, hopefully Scott fox (or whatever his name is) can compete with marc singer.

Scott Peters gave us "The 4400" with Joel Gretsch, and that was a great show, and Elizabeth Mitchell is always good. So I have high hopes for "V".
