I noticed that upon my first viewing of this trailer.

And I wonder who will play Joker in Batman 3? Assuming 1) that they make a 3rd film; and 2) that Goyer planned to keep Joker on board even with the script change.

...oh, and by the way, "since I missed drug-overdose" does not grammatically make sense because you forget a word, I believe what you meant was "since I missed THE drug-overdose" - so maybe you should keep an eye on your stuff before commenting on that of others.

Hey MovieWebers! This is who was original named "HarryPatch". Lately I've been busy writing scripts for short films that I plan on making over the Summer. Also, I am in the process of my movie reviews and Film Recommendation Lists over on Flixster. So, I have been off-n-on Movieweb for some time. Once I get through my busy projects, I should be back on here as much as I can.

Anyway, The main purpose of this long comment that's not even about "the Dark Knight" is to ask all of you users out there to help me decide what the Most - "POPULAR" - Films of all-time are. I'm looking for a 100, but you can just suggest one if you like. Please email me at:

    pop4m6@yahoo.com

:to send in your vote for Most POPULAR Films...OR - you can add a comment on my profile. Now, this is not a way for you all to tell me your favorite movie, but rather to tell me what you feel are the most referenced, inspirational, influenced & well-known movies you can think of.

One was supposed to be that the joker and two face team up at the end of the movie to lead into the 3rd. The other was supposed to be like the end in begins where scarcrow runs away and thats the end of that and then two face takes over as the head crimester, there might be another lead into the next villian in the 3rd like in begins but he wouldn't tell me cuz he doesn't want to runin the movie according to dr. start

This movie is going to be amazing and it is going to be the number one box office movie of the year because of one it looks amazing but the main reason is because of heath's death. It will make around $300 million and if its lucky maybe beat transformers $319 million just because of the hype over heath. PredQueen100 the punisher was a real good movie but the second one wont be it doesn't even have Thomas Jane who played that role perfect. Slysnide I don't know if you've read this or if its true but I read that there is I think 2 or 3 different endings cuz the one ending showed the joker in a casket, and when heath died they had to redo the ending, idk if it's true but I was just seeing if you heard of that

    4 years agoby @jkos18Flag

  27. slysnide

If you try and piece together what's going on in the trailer, then you'll notice that Joker's in 1)a jail cell 2)an interrogation room. and 3)a cop car. So let's suppose that those are the order of said events. You'll notice that Joker's makeup is considerably more faded when he's leaning out of the window of the squad car than in the interrogation room, so that can support the order that I've placed said events.

Also, on a Wikipedia article about the film, the makeup artist said that Joker NEVER reapplies his makeup, and therefore, as the film progresses, it begins to look like an infection in his skin; which further confirms my order of the events.

Now to the point: Seeing as the second act in a trilogy is traditionally darker in theme than the first and third (as confirmed by Nolan for this film); and that they have more emotional/dramatic climaxes/endings rather than action packed ones like the first and third act in a trilogy, then would it be safe to assume that these events occur in the end of the movie? After all, Batman seems to be really fed-up with the Joker in the interrogation room. And what do you think they may be talking about? Cuz whatever it is, it sure isn't pleasing Batman. Plus, Joker is supposed to make him question his beliefs/actions (as confirmed in the plot synopsis) so that scene sounds like a big moment in the film, and near the climax, or IS the climax. The ending being Joker's escape in the squad car, or something thereafter to be resolved in Batman 3, as originally planned by David Goyer.

Any thoughts? I know this is pure speculation.

Yeah. I heard the same thing about "Iron Man" and I said the same thing about "X2" 5yrs ago. But they seem to get more and more impressive as time goes on. So I'll say it again: "The Dark Knight" is looking to be the best superhero movie ever!!!
