Halloween II Alternate Ending
What do you think? Better or worse than what we all saw in theaters?
Halloween II was released August 28th, 2009 and stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Chase Wright Vanek, Scout Taylor-Compton, Brad Dourif, Caroline Williams, Malcolm McDowell, Tyler Mane, Dayton Callie. The film is directed by Rob Zombie.

The first Halloween was way better than the second and i would even say the next best Halloween to Johny boys original. Did you watch H2? it was terrible! Worst horror movie of ALL TIME! They made Mikey grunt like some kind of autistic or like he was Link swing his sword around looking for Zelda. The shacking camera made it seem like the camera man had parkinson's disease. The rape in the first one wasn't in the theatrical release of the first Halloween it was "the Directors Cut." What a joke, there is a good reason why the directors cut doesn't always make it to the big screen! Its cause there is a producer saying "no rob .... thats f*cking retarded." I could go into further depth as to why i loved the first Zombi Halloween and why i HATED the abortion sequel H2 but i wont bore anyone with anymore pointless drivel that will more than likely be read by three people ... but i wont.

Hey halo wars, you totally misinterpreted my statement.
First off, I didn't compare the directors, I compared their movies(or in this case, Rob's first Halloween and all of Uwe Bol's films). If you take a look at my first comment on the first page of this thread, you'd notice that I clearly stated that Rob could have had a great remake on his hands if he only made one movie instead of expanding it into two parts, i.e. yes, I do think he has potential, but I also think he missed the mark and ultimately failed in his retelling of the Halloween saga.
You also seemed to misinterpret the part about "sick bastards." Re-read the comment and think it through instead of irrationally jumping to conclusions because you don't like me and my opinions. I was speaking of Rob, not the users...but to be fair, yeah, you do have to be pretty sick to think that Rob's first movie was anywhere near decent. As I said, it was nothing but an exploitation of blood and t*ts. I guess some people like the idea of security guards raping a girl in front of a prisoner. Seriously, Rob is a twisted freak, and as for Saw, I've only seen the first 3. The first was written infinitely better than anything Rob will ever dish out. The first two sequels were okay, but started going down the path of torture porn. I can't say anything for the rest of the series, but I've heard it's not much better. Jigsaw dies in the third, so it should have ended there anyway. They were still more suspenseful than Rob's Halloween movies, though.
BUT, if you remained calm and didn't jump the gun, you would have had the decency to realize that I applauded Rob's improved(albeit still flawed) sequel and his storytelling techniques.

I like Rob's first one alot, but this second one made me want to walk out! I was laughing the whole time at how stupid the "story" was, how useless the random death scenes were, and how F**KING annoying Taylor Scout-Compton's character was. She literally just screamed/cried the whole movie. scale of 1 to 10 i say 3/10
On to the alternate ending: So what? Is she dead? Dreaming? Retarded? What? In my opinion that ending was worse than the original. It offers no conclusion and just leaves a felling of "what the F**k!"

This second movie was horrible. Who was this guy unmasked? Is he Rob's inbred brother? "Dieee!!"... Rob, that's corny dude!!!! I alwasy thought Rob was a hip guy who just knew what was cool and what wasn''t. Obviously wrong!!! The first 20 minutes were great! Then it turned out to be all a dream, and we went back to the hick reality, the obsessive amount of cursing for no reason, andRob's wife (Michaels mother) prancing around in a dress and a white horse. (are you serious Rob?)

Both of Zombies Halloween films are just bad and there's talk for a third film. Season of the Witch or what ever they call it is going to bring back Micheal with a vengence, well that's just a rumor at the moment.

That was a brilliant movie over all, I think both endings were just as good as the other, but who cares how it ends, Myers never died in any other ones so why should this be different, the gore factor was a little less than superb but it makes up in style, Taylor Scout-Compton while a hottie just irritated the hell out of me in this because she reminded me of my ex, but overall AMAZING!!! Zombie knows what he wants from his movies and any true fan will stick with him, any fan should know how Zombies mind works and its nothing less than incredible, he didn't get to where he is by being ordinary....

Why is it that everytime somebody thinks a director sucks they compare them to Uwe Boll? Boll is horrible because he does nothing but video game adaptations. I though Zombie did ok with his version of Halloween. I thought he should have brought some more originality to the movies but they were decent. Zombie didnt even want to make this movie but he did when the studio decided to hire another director and Zombie found out that their plan for the next one was another remake of the original. I think Zombie has so much potential to deliver a great horror movie. Look at the the original stories that hes done. In time Zombie will blow us away. As for what was said below that you have to be sick to enjoy this, why dont you reconsider that? This isnt anywhere near as sick as that bullsh*t Saw franchise. People who watch all of those each year are the ones that are truly sick.

i actually liked BOTH of Rob's Halloween films. It took me a few times to watch the first before I really liked it and went to theater to see #2 and liked it. Can't wait til it comes out. Add it to my collection of all the Halloween films.

Lucic, this is ROB'S Michael Myers. Who isn't silent. You'd think that would get through people's heads by now...that this ISN'T the "Shape." It's a remake. That's all find and dandy if you can make a good movie come from it, but Rob Zombie wasn't able to, at least with the first one. His second installment was decent.

I don't like the alternate ending. Although, I wasn't too thrilled with the theatrical ending either...but I liked it better than that alternate ending. I really don't understand the point of "alternate endings" its like, don't confuse us with crappy "what could have been" endings. Not just Rob Zombie but like, almost all movies have some kind of stupid alternate ending. Enough already. We get it, you want to sell more DVDs. Great.
Furthermore, I really liked the 1st Rob Zombie Halloween, the 2nd one, while it had some really cool parts in it, left me wanting more Michael Myers. I think Taylor Scout-Compton is adorable and I'd personally like to take her out to dinner..so no offense when I say when I watch a Halloween movie I want to see Michael Myers. The Shape.
Also, just wanted to say, Michael is SILENT. Period. No evil loud grunting noises as hes hacking away at someone or screaming DIEEEEEE or anything like that, its stupid.
