Watch an Extended Cloverfield Clip!

Producer J.J. Abrams has posted online an extended clip from his upcoming monster film Cloverfield.

In the film, five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.

Cloverfield arrives in theatres on January 18

Cloverfield was released January 18th, 2008 and stars Lizzy Caplan, Jessica Lucas, T.J. Miller, Michael Stahl-David, Mike Vogel, Odette Annable, Anjul Nigam, Margot Farley. The film is directed by Matt Reeves.

    "death321"...It's the plot, not the "godzilla lookin" creature that they call it an original idea. Duh, it is the year 2007. People like watching it like it is being taped. Trust me, watch the movie..."NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN"...that movie was so quiet...like you're in the middle nowhere, deserted...but somehow won so many awards (GOLDEN GLOBE)...so you are wrong death321...people will love this movie...and it's not GODZILLA...and they can only sue J.J. Abrams if it was named GODZILLA amd it was the exact same plot as the movie....it doesn't matter if looks like GODZILLA, it's not illegal. They wouldn't named the monster GODZILLA...there are alot of movies that make look-a-likes, but it's not illegal...so your pretty much wrong again "death321"...

    If the whole movie is filmed the way the trailer is , The movie will stink ! This is 2007 , Not 1987 ! If you want to watch a movie that looks like it it is taped with a 400 $ camera go ahead ! It is yet to be seen but guessing those who own the right to Godzilla should sue J.J. Abrams !

    Boring. This clip is old. This was out weeks ago. The only thing I don't remember is the last fifteen or twenty seconds when they all start running away from the rushing debris. I'm sure this movie's gonna suck.
