The Last Airbender storms into theaters July 2 from Paramount Pictures.

The Last Airbender was released July 1st, 2010 and stars Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis, Nicola Peltz, Randall Duk Kim, Jessica Andres, Noah Ringer, Seychelle Gabriel. The film is directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

    Im super excited to see this movie, and my friend called me yesterday and he got three tickets for an advanced screening on June 18!!!! I cant wait to go. Of course the screenings in California and I live in Oklahoma, but its going to totally be worth the drive!!!!!!!11

    I guess, but I don't really think its that hard to have a bald head, with a pony tail, its a high budget movie, and the burn although healed should be dark and more pronounced to make it more noticeable from far away, and when hooded, I'm not asking for Freddy Krueger or Two Face burns, but a little more pronounced burns, and I understand that they can'0t have everything, but you can't have the characters do/know/look like they do in another season in the movie it breaks continuity, and slaps the fans in the face a bit, to do that, and just because you have to cut a whole season down to a movie doesn't mean you take out the basics, like the comedy, and character progression, but we'll have to see the movie to see if any issue we have are relevant, but from the preview I'm not seeing the extremely epic movie I wanted, but a good attempt

    @ the Shadow of BlizZzard, this is only taking place in season one, not one and two. Don't forget things aren't going to be the same as they were in the show, the story overall should be other than a few things will definitely have to be cut, including King Bumi, he's not in this movie, Shyamalan said he couldn't fit him in because he was trying to fit only the things that contributed to the overall story. Zuko's hair probably is probably the way it is because it would be harder to do it the way they did in the show. Now for his scar I wish it looked more like the show but in all fairness the burn mark probably would be the way it is in the movie.

    I agree about Aang's voice, he sounds a bit older then he should, even for 110 year old, but the one thing I'm seeing that I don't like, it seems to be too serious and no comedy, if thats the case this is not going to be that good, action wise yes, story wise yes, but it's not going to be as entertain, plus that means Iroh will not be needed, but I heard his voice so he in it, so hopefully I'm wrong

    Oh yeah that burn on Zuko's face isn't as server as in the cartoon, or how I thought it would be, and his hair seems to already be growing back, so this must take place in season one and two, if I remember correctly, I like the transition of the characters, but this also means Toph will be in it too.

    Side note Rofio (from the peter pan movie Hook) I think is Zuko's voice, so I think they could have just had him in the movie and it would have been just as good

    I'm just glad to see Shyamalan trying something a little different. He has a vivid creative mind, but his movies were getting very formulaic, which I think was stagnating his creative juices.

    I loved seeing some new footage, we saw Katara and Zuko fight for a split second! ha! Awesome stuff, note most of the stuff was from the first trailer but I'm glad they're adding little things in to keep the fans occupied and happy. Aang's voice is not what I was expecting but I really don't care right now, this could have been a test to see how fan's reacted to it to see if they needed to try to fix his voice or not. Who knows. Very excited for this film and can't wait for the next one to come out with Iron Man 2!!!!! :D

    Wow, that Trailer was better than the last!! From appearances, they're sticking close to the Cartoon, which is good.

    I'm with "Bawniaxyz" and "XxxHolic" on Appa and Momo, but they may be keeping that for the actual release and not give everything away right off.

    Nicola Peltz is looking very good as Katara. Hopefully they don't screw up the actors themselves.
