Here are nine exciting new scenes from the upcoming Robert Zemeckis retelling of the classic Beowulf tale. It is a time of heroes, when the mighty Beowulf (Ray Winstone) must defeat the evil Grendel (Crispin Glover) before he can incur any more of his wrath on a small coastal village ruled by a inebriated King (Anthony Hopkins).

The conflict will transform one man into a legend. The film also stars Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich, Brendan Gleeson, Dominic Keating, Alison Lohman, and Robin Wright Penn. Check out these eight exciting scenes from the 3-D motion-capture extravaganza right now!

cerealkiller, i used to get annoyed by all the ads blocking content on the site. I got the adblocks plug in for firefox and thats gone now. I thought I had beaten the ad monster, then I noticed the ads on the videos. I understand this site is big and its an advertisement whor*, but draw the line somewhere and dont annoy your visitors.

I think it looks sweet, good use of technology, motion capture and texture elements are kickin. Hopefully the story will be solid.

Some of the animation still looks a bit clunky, but this is an amazing story, if it's told properly.
