A newly married couple discovers disturbing, ghostly images in photographs they develop after a tragic accident. Fearing the manifestations may be connected, they investigate and learn that some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Shutter was released March 21st, 2008 and stars Joshua Jackson, Rachael Taylor, Megumi Okina, David Denman, John Hensley, Maya Hazen, James Kyson-Lee, Yoshiko Miyazaki. The film is directed by Masayuki Ochiai.

the best thing about "the grudge" was the send up in scary movie 4.

I'm tired of all these Asian Horror Re-Makes, 9Xs out of 10 the orginial is alot better since somewhere along the line something gets lost in translation!
Prime example "The Eye" W./Jessica Alba was a boring mess!
Why Can't the stuido's just Release the Orginial?? The "Orginial" film was nominated for the 2005 Golden Kinnaree Award for best film at the Bangkok International Film Festival and has won various awards at smaller festivals around the world.
