Discovery Communications' Planet Green channel is bringing ten episodes of Wasted to the small screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Annabelle Gurwitch will host the program.

The show will revolve around households that strive to make their environments greener with earning money an added incentive. Gurwitch and handyman Holter Graham will help households of people become more eco-friendly. The pair will audit a household's waste, energy, water and transportation consumption using such tools as an eco-calculator built especially for the series with input from the Global Footprint Network.

The show will debut early next year.
