Warner Bros. Set for Futuristic Robin Hood
Atlas Entertainment and Hollywood Gang are set to produce the untitled film, while commercials director Nicolai Fuglsig, who pitched the project, has signed on to direct. Jason Hall will write the screenplay.
Few plot details have been revealed about the new Robin Hood, but it will be set in a dystopian London and center on a band of thieves whose activities restore hope to the city's embattled population. Producers describe it as "a futuristic action adventure" that will be "both inspired by and pay homage to the legend of Robin Hood."
Charles Roven and Richard Suckle will produce via their Atlas banner, while Gianni Nunnari will produce via his Hollywood Gang shingle. Craig Flores of Hollywood Gang will executive produce.
No production date has been set.

Sounds like what disney did to Teasure Island making Treasure Planet. Just as good, but this version sounds... darker. I like it! :-)

this sounds cool the whole idea but they gotta change the name and better not call it something to do with robin hood

As long as they don't associate the movie with the name, Robin Hood (which I doubt they will), this could be a neat movie.

They should just just base it on the old "Rocket Robin Hood" cartoon. For those too young to remember go here and relive a classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MfisiGqtEM

I doubt its going to be called Robin Hood, especially with Ridley Scotts movie coming out. Hopefully they come up with something clever. This is a pretty cool concept. Sounds promising.

The Narrator: The Better Man
You've got to be kidding me. The concept is cool, but the fact that its "Robin Hood" sucks. change the name, and it will be cool.
