I love Bleach, but it's no where not even close to the greatest animes. That title belongs to either Cowboy Bebop or Neon Genesis Evangelion. Bleach has too many filler episodes to ever be called great. As far as this movie series, they have to decide on the right casting, especially if they end up Americanizing the story. Also, don't cannibalize the story the way the writers of Dragonball did. The most important thing they must do is pace it correctly. Under no circ*mstances should Aizen be in the first movie. The first movie should start with Ichigo and Rukia's first meeting, and end with the Grand Fisher fight(skipping some plots such as Orihime's brother and Don Kanonji). This way we get a sense of the impending trouble that Rukia and Ichigo are going to be in soon. Second movie starts when Byakuya and Renji come for Rukia. Where this movie will end is crucial. The impulse will be end it with Aizen's betrayal and escape, but by doing this, his faked death and subsequent resurrection could end up having very little impact on the story. They may want to consider ending it with Aizen's "death" and the fight between Ichigo and Kenpachi. This way, the emotional impact of Aizen's "death" can be felt, setting up those moviegoers not familiar with the anime or manga for what will happen in the third movie. It would also allow the movie to do the fights better. Ichigo would have two huge fights(Renji and Kenpachi) instead of three and a half(it wasn't much of a fight against Aizen). From this point the third movie could pick up with Ichigo training for Bankai, and end with the aftermath of the fight with Aizen. There is more than enough material in this section, and it allow Aizen to take center stage as he becomes one of the three or four greatest villains ever. For the fourth movie, entirely skip the Bounts and go straight to the Arrancar's. The Bount's are boring fodder from filler episodes that were unlikeable. On the other hand, the Arrancar's had charisma, especially Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. They could get three to four more movies out of the Arrancar arc as long as they continue to pace it well.
