Warner Bros. Pictures has released their slate of 2010 movie releases including The Book of Eli, Edge of Darkness, Valentine's Day, A Couple of Dicks, Hubble 3D, Clash of the Titans, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Sex and the City 2, Jonah Hex, The Lottery Ticket, The Town, Flipped, Going the Distance, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Life As We Know It.

The Book of Eli

The Book of Eli - January 15th


The drama revolves around a lone hero who fights his way across the wasteland of post-apocalyptic America. He's the protector of a sacred book that may hold the key to saving humanity.

Edge of Darkness

Edge of Darkness - January 29th


Edge of Darkness centers on a veteran cop (Gibson) whose only grown-up child (Novakovic) is murdered on the steps of his home. The cop unearths his daughter's secret life and discovers a world of corporate cover-ups and government collusion. Huston takes on the role of a shady businessman while Roberts will play the role of the daughter's distraught boy.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day - February 12th


The film is a comedy about 10 people in Los Angeles whose lives intersect on the romantic holiday. The film is being fasttracked with hopes for a release on Valentine's Day 2010.

Cop Out

Cop Out - February 26th


Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan will star in the comedy as two cops who track down a stolen baseball card, rescue a Mexican beauty and must deal with gangsters and laundered drug money.

Hubble 3D

Hubble 3D - March 19th


The IMAX 3D camera, which flew onboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis, captured stunning 3D images of the intricate spacewalks required to service the telescope during the most recent mission last May. Shot by the STS-125 astronauts, this intimate look at the complexities of repairing the telescope will put IMAX audiences right there along-side the spacewalking astronauts. Hubble 3D will combine this awe-inspiring IMAX footage with breathtaking up-close imagery of distant galaxies, the birth of stars and planets, and more - revealing the cosmos as never before.

Clash of the Titans

Clash of the Titans - March 26th


Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 mythical adventure film about the myth of Perseus. To win the right to marry his love (Andromeda) and fufill his destiny, Perseus must complete various quests and battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda. The special effects creatures in the 1981 film were created by stop-motion FX master Ray Harryhausen.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

A Nightmare on Elm Street - April 30th


Warner Bros.' New Line Cinema has hired veteran screenwriter Wesley Strick to pen the relaunch of the A Nightmare on Elm Street series.

The original "Nightmare" was written and directed by Wes Craven and released in 1984. The new project will keep the high school setting and delve deeper in the psychology of nightmares and Freddy Krueger himself.

Sex and the City 2

Sex and the City 2 - May 28th


Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have signed for the sequel to Sex and the City along with writer-director-producer Michael Patrick King.

Jonah Hex

Jonah Hex - June 18th


Hex, known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood. Jonah Hex first appeared in the early 1970s in the issues of "All-Star Western" before graduating to his own series in 1977 that ran for about 10 years. A new series was launched in 2005. The character also had a run in the 1990s that combined the Western genre with supernatural elements.

The Lottery Ticket

The Lottery Ticket - August


The story revolves a young man, portrayed by Bow Wow, living in the projects who has to survive a three-day weekend after his opportunistic neighbors find out he's holding a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million.

The Town

The Town - September 10th


In the adaptation of the Chuck Hogan novel "The Prince of Thieves," Affleck would play a career thief who becomes smitten by the manager of a bank. The project would be based in Charlestown, Mass., a gritty blue-collar Boston suburb similar to the one that Affleck captured in his directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone.

Flipped

Flipped - Fall


The book, published in 2001 by Knopf, revolves around the confusing romantic developments of antagonistic boy and girl neighbors who eventually share a kiss when they reach their teens. The story takes place from 1957-63 as the kids grow up from ages 7 to 13.

Going the Distance

Going the Distance - October 8th


Going the Distance centers on a man and woman in a long-distance relationship who ultimately come to the realization that they would be happier dating someone closer to home.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 - November 19th


Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1, which will be split into two movies, features the adventures of the series' protagonist Harry Potter as he attempts to bring an end to his nemesis, Lord Voldemort.

Life As We Know It

Life As We Know It - December 22nd


The story follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers for their orphaned daughter.

Clash of the Titans was released April 2nd, 2010 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Flemyng, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos, Tine Stapelfeldt, Mads Mikkelsen. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.

A Nightmare on Elm Street was released April 30th, 2010 and stars Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Clancy Brown, Connie Britton. The film is directed by Samuel Bayer.

Flipped was released August 6th, 2010 and stars Madeline Carroll, Callan McAuliffe, Rebecca De Mornay, Anthony Edwards, John Mahoney, Penelope Ann Miller, Aidan Quinn, Kevin Weisman. The film is directed by Rob Reiner.

Going the Distance was released September 3rd, 2010 and stars Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Christina Applegate, Ron Livingston, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jim Gaffigan. The film is directed by Nanette Burstein.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was released November 19th, 2010 and stars Bill Nighy, Emma Watson, Richard Griffiths, Harry Melling, Daniel Radcliffe, Julie Walters, Bonnie Wright, Rupert Grint. The film is directed by David Yates.

Life as We Know It was released October 8th, 2010 and stars Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Josh Lucas, Alexis Clagett, Brynn Clagett, Brooke Clagett, Hayes MacArthur, Christina Hendricks. The film is directed by Greg Berlanti.

Sex and the City: The Movie was released May 30th, 2008 and stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Candice Bergen, Jennifer Hudson, David Eigenberg. The film is directed by Michael Patrick King.
