Walt Disney Pictures picks up Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Steve Carell is still attached to star in this adaptation of Judith Viorst's children's novel. Lisa Cholodenko will direct from a script she co-wrote with Rob Lieber.
The story follows a young boy who wakes up to find gun in his hair, and from there, events begin to slowly unravel that bring about one of the worst days in the history of the world. Steve Carell is set to play the boy's dad.
While Disney has come to the film's rescue, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day does not have a set production start date at this time.
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner. The film is directed by Miguel Arteta.
