The Wachowski's new film titled Cobalt Neutral 9
The film is currently in the midst of the casting process and, as the Deadline New York story reveals, actors aren't being allowed access to the entire script for auditions.
All that is known about the story for this new film is that it centers on a homosexual romance between an American soldier and an Iraqi soldier during the Iraq war. Apparently there are roles for Jesse Ventura and Arianna Huffington in the film, as we reported way back in May.
Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski are writing and directing the film. We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further information on this Cobalt Neutral 9 project as soon as we have more information.
Cobalt Neutral 9 comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Jesse Ventura, Arianna Huffington. The film is directed by Lana Wachowski, Andy Wachowski.

Not sure we can refer to them as the "brothers" anymore...lol
Yeah, Matrix 1 was great. Everything else has just been a sh*theap since then. Even the stuff they've produced and not written and/or directed.
I've kind of given up on the Wachowski...Siblings.

Notice how Andy doesn't look too enthusiastic about the photo op, or more to the point, this film.

There's an interesting tinge of bizarre intrigue to their films, as "The Matrix," as slow as it was, kept you interested despite that the story broke all the conventional rules, with the plot lacking depth, and the climax having nothing to do with what Morpheus had been lecturing about for 90 minutes or so. Or it did, and we were all taken by his awesome lecturing power, just like with the Architect's dull performance with yet another lecture, but one far more interesting that merited further exploration & explanation into its mechanics than the drull visual effects mashup that was "Revolutions."

methinks that the brothers need to stop working together. I enjoyed the first two Matrix films and that's about it, I think that the last Matrix film needs to be redone.

WOW!!! Im glad I wont be seeing this!!! At least they can say they made 2 good movies, Matrix and Matrix Reloaded! (Revolution was not good at all and if it had not had Hugo Weaving, I never would have watched it)

That is not a great picture of them, in fact it's horrendous. As for the film...struggling for words.

Hey!, this may very well work you guys. 'The Pusher' was a short science-fiction story by John Varley in the 1970s, and it insinuated pedophilia as well as feature polygamy and lesbianism. Not only must it have been radical and controversial for it's time, but it was also prophetic. So why not give this feature the benefit of a doubt?
