to view the new images in high-definition.JoBlo is also reporting that Atlas Entertainment is now taking over the project and they have hired the screenwriting team of Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (Conan, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Doctor Strange) to write Voltron: Defender of the Universe. We had previously reported back in June that this movie was put on the shelf. With these new images and the hiring of screenwriters, it seems this movie is back on track.
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further details on Voltron: Defender of the Universe as soon as we have more information.

The difference, and The Mime is just guessing here, is that to the voltrons, transformers will look like little ants (Size wise). Look at them, they'll be like "transformers you tini-winies" "Voltron you over-sized tin cans" then they start running towards each other "CHARGE!!" then........(blegh) the voltron "uh...ooo" took two steps back and "hehehe.....sorry I stepped on you transformers, I couldn't see you 'cause your so tiny."

Did anyone catch one of the lions that help form Voltron's body lying defeated in the second pic? He's in the bottom right corner. Anyways, thought that looked cool. To be honest I am not a big Voltron fan, I grew up with Transformers and didn't really branch off to much. However this does look interesting.

there are only 2 possible ways this movie is going to go. it's either going to be awesome, or terrible. i dont think there will be too much middle ground here. hopefully they will do it right and make it awesome. hell get michael bay to do it. or maybe someone like him. at least it'll look great and be fun. if they dont, this movie is going to end up like G.I. JOE.

Remember when the first Cloverfield trailer was released...back before it was known as Cloverfield? And there was tons of speculation as to what exactly threw the Statue of Liberty's head into an NYC street? People thought that someone said "I saw it...it's a lion! It's huge!" That lead to people believing it was a secret Voltron movie. That first picture reminded me of that.
