Virgin Comics has announced that they will partner with producer Jonathan Mostow to turn the graphic novel The Megas into a feature film. According to Variety, it is unknown whether Mostow will write the script or direct the feature adaptation.

The Megas, presupposes an America that has a ruling class called the "Megas", for whom there is a special set of laws. A detective who believes in the monarchy rethinks his position after investigating a crime that reveals ugly truths about the elite society.

Virgin Comics has not announced when production for The Megas is scheduled to begin.

The Megas was released in 2010.
