Viola Davis Feels It's Kind of a Funny Story

Variety reports that Viola Davis has joined Focus Features' It's Kind of a Funny Story with Zach Galifianakis, and director David Schwimmer's Trust for Millennium Films.

It's Kind of a Funny Story focuses on a depressed 15-year-old who puts himself into an adult psychiatric ward. Davis is going to play the psychiatrist who helps the boy understand his problems.

Trust sees how a family deals with their 14-year-old daughter after she is victimized by an adult through an internet chat room. In this film Davis will be a counselor that is assigned to the girl's case. Clive Owen and Catherine Keener are also starring in this film.

It's Kind of a Funny Story was released October 8th, 2010 and stars Keir Gilchrist, Dana DeVestern, Lauren Graham, Jim Gaffigan, Karen Chilton, Zach Galifianakis, Aasif Mandvi, Jared Goldstein. The film is directed by Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck.

Trust was released April 1st, 2011 and stars Catherine Keener, Clive Owen, Jason Clarke, Viola Davis, Noah Emmerich, Liana Liberato, Brandon Molale, Chris Henry Coffey. The film is directed by David Schwimmer.
