Vince Vaughn acquires The Risk Agent
The story is set in Shanghai, China and centers on a Chinese National, working for an American construction company, who is kidnapped in broad daylight. The plot follows Grace Chu, a forensic accountant, and John Knox, a combat operative, hired by Rutherford Risk to recover the hostage. It isn't known what role Vince Vaughn will play at this time.
Vince Vaughn will produce with his Wild West Picture Show Productions partners Victoria Vaughn and Sandra J. Smith. The novel was published last month by Putnam, and will be the first in a series of books.
It isn't known when production will begin at this time. Vince Vaughn will next be seen in theaters this weekend with The Watch, starring alongside Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade.
