Lantana's Vince Colosimo has joined the thriller Daybreakers. According to Variety, he will be appearing alongside both Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe in the vampire flick.

The plot takes place in the year 2017, when a plague has transformed most every human into a vampire. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival. Meanwhile, a researcher (Hawke) works with a covert group of vamps to find a cure. Colosimo is playing one of the good vampires.

The movie is currently shooting in Queensland, Australia. It will be the second film for Undead directors Michael and Peter Spierig.
