Vin Diesel hints at two more Riddick sequels
Last month, we reported that principal photography had wrapped on Riddick, the third collaboration between star Vin Diesel and director David Twohy. Yesterday, the actor took to his Facebook page and offered a brief update on the project, and two more potential sequels. Take a look.

"The studio said the earliest they could release the new Riddick is in January... was hoping for 2012... but, it's on the horizon.

/smile

P.S. I think they are liking what they are seeing... haha, cause they asked when both Underverse and Furya would be ready to make and release... haha... now that's a ways in the future but it is exciting."

We still have a ways to go before this sci-fi sequel hits theaters, but, knowing Vin Diesel, he will keep us updated every step of the way.

Riddick was released September 6th, 2013 and stars Vin Diesel, Jordi Mollà, Matthew Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, Bokeem Woodbine, Raoul Trujillo, Conrad Pla. The film is directed by David Twohy.

Let's be real... this franchise was "okay" at most. It was nothing spectacular. Good to hear they are pushing forward, but I'm in no rush.

@bawnian-dexeus I'm not, but I'm glad to see Vin Diesel working again -- even if that means he's got to resurrect below-average films that ignited his career in order to do so. It's like the Stallone/ Rambo/Rocky thing, which is kinda sad considering he's nowhere near that old.

How this one plays out will determine how I feel about two more sequels, but for now I'm down.
