Nia Vardalos and John Corbett are set to reunite for the first time since their smash hit, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. According to Variety, the new romantic comedy, I Hate Valentine's Day, penned by Vardalos will mark Vardalos' directorial debut, as well.

The film centers around a whimsical florist who charms a stoic restaurant owner with her unique look on dating. "I am so happy John jumped in and really look forward to working with him -- and kissing him -- again," Vardalos said.

Production begins June 23.

I Hate Valentine's Day was released July 3rd, 2009 and stars Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Stephen Guarino, Amir Arison, Zoe Kazan, Gary Wilmes, Mike Starr, Jason Mantzoukas. The film is directed by Nia Vardalos.
