Sources inside Summit Entertainment and Hudgens' camp tell EW that the filmmakers aren't looking at the star (best known as High School Musical's Gabriella Montez) for any role in the soon-to-be-shooting Twilight followup.
So far confirmed for the next installment are Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner as well as director Chris Weitz. New Moon will open in theaters November 20th, 2009.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon was released November 20th, 2009 and stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Christian Serratos, Michael Welch. The film is directed by Chris Weitz.

Been holding my breath on that one. Even though I think she MIGHT be able to pull it off, she's the LAST thing that I want to see in "New Moon." It's going to be a great movie, though. In my book, at least. LOLZ!
