Alexander: According to Variety, Val Kilmer has been cast as Macedonian king Philip in Oliver Stone's Alexander, starring Colin Farrell.

King Philip is father of Alexander who will be played by Colin Farrell, and husband to Olympias, who will be played by Angelina Jolie.
