As for the clip, I think a combo of this animatronics and CGI would have made for a kooler over all look of the HULK instead a bit, unreal. But CGI would have had to be included to have realistic facial movement and over all moving on its feet.

Lee's Hulk was really good. There was alot of misses on story, such as a history with his father and science with the military. But all in all was good. And dont care who says anything diffrent, despite nothing being said in the Incrediable Hulk with Nortan, it was a sequal to HULK, where the first 15 minutes of the film was a back drop of what ended and happend in HULK. But the movie went forward and changed alot of visual history. But being in south america in hidding, with the same general after him, making refrences to his transforming from the first movie also....

I enjoyed Lee's Hulk very much, no suffering on my part to sit through his version!

It's really amazing, the things we can do with animatronics. I think it's incredible how life like that robot looked. If they had covered it in ballistics gel and painted it green, it would almost look alive, and that's top-of-the-line robotics right there. And yet, we could be using those robotics for medical purposes.... Naaah! Let's make a movie with this stuff!
But seriously, MUCH more desirable then CGI Hulk, at least in Ang Lee's version. I think it would of made Hulk a lot more worth it to suffer through.
And @Drewski, why don't you go read the article again, I think you'll find your Superman stuff.if you don't find it there, look in the above "Related Stories" bar.

personally i am a traditionalist... phantom menace cgi was always a downgrade from original trilogy standards (i only use that as an example)... models, makeup and matte paintings just had a more realistic feel to them, much more tangible. IMHO i think the animatronic would have worked to a certain degree, and given it a much more real feel, and that they could have used cgi for where the animatronic could not work (such as in when hulk was jumping through the desert. i think the only thing that has really captured cgi well has been avatar, jurassic park, and gollum in LOTR's, of course that is easily debatable especially with fantastic cgi creations such as jar jar binks :) (sarcasm) But i do agree that hulk was a big disappointment anyhow and i dont think anything could have saved that film.

The first few seconds looked more like a tribute to Arnold than Hulk

It would not have mattered what he chose to use for his movie, Ang Lee's movie sucked from start to finish.

I love MovieWeb's attempts to compete with ComicBookMovie.

Face it. User-Generated content always prevails.

It looked really well done and probably would have been the better choice.

Jason I said that when the first movie was announced. And then they went back to it in the second film. CGI has come a long way, but not far enough for me. I hope with the technology from Avatar that they are going to use for the Avengers the Hulk has more depth and Ruffalo can give him a REAL personality.

i rather see that than CGI, geez those guys put their heart & soul into making these wire by wire and piece by piece just so the director can say "NAHHH" would have looked more real than flat cgi.
