Movie PictureEvan Almighty is going to be a holy roller in more ways than one.

According to DVD Active and UniversalHiDef, Universal is going to christen their new U-Shop offering with the HD-DVD release of this title.

Essentially, with U-Shop users will be able to buy items "related to the movie using your remote and your HD DVD player connected to the Internet."

This new option will be offered "in a special menu on the disc. Future discs may allow the consumer to buy products as the movie plays. However, current agreements with actors don't allow for this kind of interactivity."
