Universal to Bring Four Titles to HD-DVD in August

Universal has some interesting HD-DVD titles planned for August.

According to The Digital Bits, the company is going to be bringing Ray, The Bone Collector, Spy Game and The Interpreter to the new technology format.

Ray will debut on August 8, while The Bone Collector, Spy Game and The Interpreter will come out on August 22.

No word on what HD extras might be on the discs but all the extras from the original DVD releases will be ported over to the new HD-DVDs.

Ray was released October 29th, 2004 and stars Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Regina King, Clifton Powell, Harry Lennix, Bokeem Woodbine, Aunjanue Ellis, Sharon Warren. The film is directed by Taylor Hackford.

The Bone Collector was released November 5th, 1999 and stars Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Queen Latifah, Michael Rooker, Mike McGlone, Luis Guzmán, Leland Orser, John Benjamin Hickey. The film is directed by Phillip Noyce.

Spy Game was released November 21st, 2001 and stars Robert Redford, Brad Pitt, Catherine McCormack, Stephen Dillane, Larry Bryggman, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Matthew Marsh, Todd Boyce. The film is directed by Tony Scott.
