Universal Pictures Examines The Parsifal Mosaic

In a story from Variety, it seems that Universal is looking to pick up the rights to The Parsifal Mosaic. The book is a new espionage thriller from Robert Ludlum.

The new talks for the Ludlum property come on the heels of Tom Cruise looking to co-star with Denzel Washington in director David Cronenberg's The Matarese Circle at MGM. The Matarese Circle is based on another Ludlum book.

The Parsifal Mosaic is set around a U.S. intelligence agent who thinks his lover has been killed for a being a KGB double agent. When he finds out that she is alive, the agent decides to figure out what's going on.

    Robert Ludlum is an excellent writer and I hope the adaptation of this book is as good as the Bourne series.
