
Universal Pictures alters its release date schedule
The studio has moved The Adjustment Bureau, which stars Matt Damon, from a summertime release of July 30 to a September 17 release date. The studio has also moved the Zac Efron film Charlie St. Cloud from its October 15 release to fill in the July 30 release slot.
Universal has also pushed back its Danny McBride comedy Your Highness from an October 1 release to April 8, 2011. The studio has also set a January 14, 2011 release date for Cheaters, which stars Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. The comedy will be squaring off against The Green Hornet, which Sony recently moved into that release slot.
Release dates were also set for such films as The Night Chronicles: Devil (February 11, 2011), the first film in a new series produced by M. Night Shyamalan, James Cameron's Sanctum 3D (March 4, 2011) and the documentary Catfish on September 17.
The Adjustment Bureau was released March 4th, 2011 and stars Matt Damon, Lisa Thoreson, Florence Kastriner, Phyllis McBryde, Natalie Carter, Chuck Scarborough, Jon Stewart, Capt. Gregory P. Hitchen. The film is directed by George Nolfi.
Charlie St. Cloud was released July 30th, 2010 and stars Zac Efron, Charlie Tahan, Amanda Crew, Augustus Prew, Donal Logue, Kim Basinger, Ray Liotta, Dave Franco. The film is directed by Burr Steers.
Your Highness was released April 8th, 2011 and stars Danny McBride, James Franco, Rasmus Hardiker, Natalie Portman, Toby Jones, Justin Theroux, Zooey Deschanel, Charles Dance. The film is directed by David Gordon Green.
The Dilemma was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Channing Tatum, Queen Latifah, Amy Morton, Chelcie Ross. The film is directed by Ron Howard.
Devil was released September 17th, 2010 and stars Chris Messina, Logan Marshall-Green, Jenny O'Hara, Bojana Novakovic, Bokeem Woodbine, Geoffrey Arend, Jacob Vargas, Matt Craven. The film is directed by John Erick Dowdle.
The Occupants was released in 2011 and stars Sabrina Morris, Brett McClelland. The film is directed by Peter Cornwell.
