Universal Lights Up Half Baked on HD-DVD January 30

Sometimes the evolution of an artist is an isn't interesting. For someone like Dave Chappelle it most certainly is.

In a story from The Digital Bits, it seems that Half Baked, the first feature that Chappelle wrote and starred in will be coming to DVD on an HD-DVD combo disc January 30 from Universal.

Politically incorrect at every turn, Half Baked has all the ingredients of classic, toked-out cinema: bad language, smoking and inhaling controlled substances, tasteless humor, dimwitted young men, gratuitous nudity, celebrity cameos and questionable methods of raising large sums of cash quickly. It's a recipe that will appeal to audiences beyond the short-term memory impaired.

No word is known yet on what Special Features this disc will contain.

Half Baked was released January 16th, 1998 and stars Dave Chappelle, Guillermo Díaz, Jim Breuer, Harland Williams, Rachel True, Clarence Williams III, Laura Silverman, Tommy Chong. The film is directed by Tamra Davis.
