Universal Brings out Miami Vice December 5

Miami Vice may not have burned up the box office but that isn't hurting Universal's hopes for the title on DVD.

According to The Digital Bits, the studio has picked December 5 to bring that disc out. Sadly, not much is known about the what bonus features the DVDs will contain.

It it will be released "in separate R and Unrated Director's Cut versions." These will sell for $29.98. The film will also be in anamorphic widescreen video and contain Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. The theatrical version will also be available as a DVD/HD-DVD Combo and sell for $39.98. "This will contain 1080p high-definition video (anamorphic widescreen) with both Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio."

Interestingly, The Bits also reports that the studio has removed The Hulk from it's November HD-DVD schedule.

Hulk was released June 20th, 2003 and stars Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott, Josh Lucas, Nick Nolte, Paul Kersey, Cara Buono, Todd Tesen. The film is directed by Ang Lee.
