Underworld: New from the wire today claims that there will be another release of Underworld on DVD coming on May 25th. The Unrated Extended Cut two-disc set will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, new commentary track (with director Len Wiseman and actors Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman), "Fang vs. Fiction" documentary, featurettes ("The Look of Underworld," "Designing Underworld" and "Visual Effects"), deleted scenes, trailers & TV spots, a 16-page design sketchbook, an Underworld mini-comic book, and the bonus materials from the first DVD ("The Making of Underworld," "Creature Effects," "Sights and Sounds" and "Stunts" featurettes, Storyboard Comparison, music video). Retail is $34.95.

Underworld was released September 19th, 2003 and stars Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen, Shane Brolly, Bill Nighy, Erwin Leder, Sophia Myles, Robbie Gee. The film is directed by Len Wiseman.
