Underworld Awakening was released January 20th, 2012 and stars Michael Sheen, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy, Michael Ealy, India Eisley, Theo James. The film is directed by Måns Mårlind, Björn Stein.

    His character is still alive, in more sense of the word. Maybe the director felt that Michael was over used and needed something fresh.
    @pikeman2 The prequel was awesome, the first time I saw it I wasn't in the right mood for it and thought the same way. Try watching it again, when you are in the need for something frightening.

    I remember seeing a trailer of some sorts where Selene yells out "where is Michael" yet Scott Speedman isnt casted, what happened to his character in Evolution??

    after this someone needs to add in other supernatural creatures, it can't just be Werewolves and Vampires. Why not zombies, witches or anything else. I still enjoy this series though.
